Consortium Creative Comprehension, 26 November
Written by Tom Parkinson on Monday, October 28, 2024
This short, one off group will focus on the Consortium creative comprehension paper. Every year, students cite this as the most difficult section of the exam, and in recent testing and mock exams students have found this section difficult.
This seminar will use similar content to last year’s exam, and will prepare students to rapidly skim-read and assimilate several sources, cross-referencing information and using a process of elimination to quickly answer questions. Students will be given exam skills and a formula they can apply in exam conditions.
In addition, the session will end with a short assessment. All students will receive marks, grades and clear feedback.
The class will be led by Dr Tom Parkinson. Tom co-founded Winterwood in 2011 and has an excellent track record with the Consortium exam.
